this is a simple application that completely scale a process variable to its raw value equivalent in software. for instance, you intend to scale a process variable on a controller that accepts 0-10v but your transmitter can only give 2-8v. you have to make some correction in software in order to get accurate result albeit some loss in bit resolution. In this application you enter the parameter of the transmitted signal as well as that of the controller which must be of same signal type either voltage or current and You finally enter the controller’s raw values. the result which you get becomes the controller’s new raw range values for your software scaling.
